Hybrid Cylinder
Medeco Hybrid cylinders provide audit and access control flexibility to doors without any wiring, door or frame modification, special installation or excessive cost. They combine the ease of installation of a rim or mortise cylinder with the accountability provided by an audit trail and the flexibility of an HID PROX based access control system.
Hybrid Keys leverage HID compatible PROX and iCLASS Smart Card technologies, (open architecture electronic coding) and Medeco masterkeying technology to allow systems to be merged for greater flexibility and control. The Hybrid Key is a dual technology credential that combines a Medeco mechanical blade with RFID technology. Hybrid Keys can be configured to operate hardwired HID readers, offline Hybrid cylinders, Medeco3 High Security, KeyMark and BiLevel cylinders.
